AMML is an established mineral and metallurgical laboratory specialising in flotation, hydrometallurgy, gravity and comminution testwork. The laboratory provides an independent and commercial service to exploration, mining and engineering companies throughout Australia and the world. Testwork includes troubleshooting for existing operations, development of processes for treating new ore bodies and testing and flowsheet design for bankable feasibility studies. The laboratory staff have extensive experience including mine site operation.

We have been involved in metallurgical laboratory testwork and plant operations at many of the world’s biggest mines throughout South America, North America, Africa, Asia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and Australia.
Our staff have over 100 years of experience in minerals processing testwork, including plant and laboratory experience.
Timothy Koo: General Manager
Timothy obtained his degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales. He worked in industry as a process engineer before joining AMML in 2007. Based in Sydney, he has also gained plant experience working in mines in Queensland.
Graeme Sheldon: Managing Director
Graeme has over 35 years experience in minerals processing, working extensively on-site, in the laboratory and as a consultant. He has built AMML as a fully operational and independent commercial metallurgical laboratory.
Tim Baily: Senior Metallurgist
Tim completed a Graduate Diploma of Metallurgy at the Kalgoorlie School of Mines. He has experience in all areas of metallurgical laboratory work including comminution testwork, gravity separations, flotation and leaching as well as providing assistance to on-site laboratories.
